OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Family Resource Centre (FRC) programme is Ireland?s largest
National Family and Community based support programme which is core
funded by Tusla (The Child and Family Agency). There are currently

Bagenalstown FRC was established over **Apply on the website** years
ago and in that time has developed a diverse programme of services to
cater for the needs of the community. The Director position provides
the successful candidate with the opportunity to consolidate all that
has been achieved to date, to work with an excellent team and to
continue to develop programme to meet the emerging needs of the
community.
The common purpose of Family Resource Centres is to _?strengthen and
empower children, families and communities?_. The Director?s role
is to deliver services in line with that purpose guided by a
three-year strategic plan, operationalised in an annual workplan. The
Director will work in partnership with a Voluntary Board of Directors
(the Board) to deliver that plan.
The Director will provide leadership and support to the FRC team and
oversee the facilitation and development of all programmes and
services operating within the organisation. In addition, an ongoing
part of the work will be sourcing funding for new and existing
services and liaising with relevant agencies to meet the needs of
those using the service.
